Kadija Sesay is author of Irki (Peepal Tree Press) and editor of several anthologies of writers of African and Asian descent. Her next collection, The Modern PanAfricanist’s Journey, received an Arts Council grant to research and produce a visual art exhibition and an Android app on the theme of PanAfricanism.

Dorothea Smartt is author of 2 poetry collections: Connecting Medium and Ship Shape (Peepal Tree Press ). She’ll be reading from her forthcoming chapbook, ‘Reader, I Married Him & Other Queer Goings On’

Wangui wa Goro is a respected scholar, writer and translator. She will share updated information on her forthcoming debut poetry collection, on the night!
